This is where I give something of a spoiler alert, so if you haven’t seen season finale of “True Blood” and don’t want to read what I have to say about it, skip down a post, won’t you?
Now, what the hell happened to the season finale of “True Blood?” That was so unbelievably mediocre that I ran a room-temperature fever while I watched it. That’s right, my blood was absolutely circulating normally in response to that pulse-soothing non-stunner of a season-ender.
It was an awkward, unsatisfying, fizzle-y end unbecoming of one of the best shows on TV. Creator Alan Ball talks about it over on EW, and he also talks a bit about next season. I remain unconvinced, though.
Wanna know how I know the finale was so bad? I forgot all about it yesterday. And, folks, that says it all.
Fortunately, Sam Trammell who plays shape-shifting Sam Merlotte got all kinds of nekkid in it. Something of a saving grace, if you ask me.
Save yourself with the NSFW pics.

It was not just the season finale, this wonderful show has been for shit this whole season.. Acting was as bad as a High School Play and the writing this season was a joke.. It was as if the show had “jumped the shark” each week. It was boring all season.. The only good acting this season came from Sam.. and even worse, thay cut the nudity down by half, Jason was nude every week last season.. What Happened? Bring back Jason Nudes next season and do so better story lines.

Last year, it was more campy and fun. This season was a little blah! I hated Maryann, Eggs, and Queen Sophie played Yahtzee! WTF! I wish they rid of the last thirty minutes of the finale. It was so anti-climatic.

I completely agree with you. But I kind of felt that way about the first season’s finale as well. It just feels like they are running around trying to close all the loose ends (like a book) instead of making it riveting TELEVISION. However, I just started reading the books and have not yet finished the second one so the end of the finale was quite a shocker to me and that part I very much enjoyed!
