Let’s see. Kanye humiliated himself when he jumped onstage and grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swift. (And then afterward issued a non-apology on his blog.) Beyonce distinguished herself yet again when she gave her winning moment back to Taylor.
Lady Gaga separated herself from the pop pack with a “Phantom of the Opera” performance of “Paparazzi” (and gave a shout out to us!). Beyonce rocked some more “Single Ladies.”
Madonna spoke eloquently of Michael Jackson. And Janet performed.
