Via JMG comes some pretty horrifying video and proof of the ongoing corruption of the Catholic Church. While Maggie Gallagher and her minions are bankrupting American archdioceses by continually battling against LGBT human rights, priests are still sexually abusing children in a growing international scandal that is reaching all the way to the Vatican, where, apparently gay prostitution rings are the norm.
From Brazil comes this disturbing video showing an 82-year-old Monsignor Luiz Marques Barbos having sex with a 19-year-old altar boy who worked for the Monsignor for four years. The video, secretly filmed in January 2009 by a 21-year-old man who said that Barbosa had sexually abused him beginning at the age of 12. The footage was sent to a local news network, where it aired along with an interview with Barbosa, who, when asked if he had sexually abused boys, said that he would answer that question only in confession.
Along with Barbosa, two other priests from the same archdiocese — Monsignor Raimundo Gomes, 52, and Father Edilson Duarte, 43 — have been suspended by church officials under suspicion of sexually abusing boys. The Vatican’s said that it is aware of the case.
Hey, Maggie should be happy — at least these priests are trying to marry each other!
