This is amazing.
Youtube user lovejordanart has created a haunting video combining the hateful words of people like Sally Kerns, Anita Bryant, Bishop Harry Jackson, the Westboro Church, and others with Sigur Ros’ gorgeous and haunting depiction of gay youth. Hearing the venom spewed by these people, concentrated into one place, is startling.
The video then shifts to the words of Wanda Sykes, Ellen Degeneres, and Michael Moore as they combat the violent homophobia that we confront every day.

It would’ve been more amazing had the user used his own images under the spoken words rather than using the whole Sigur Ros video. I’m not a huge Sigur Ros fan but that particular music video needs no help and still remains moving even 8 years after it’s release… The YouTube video is, however, a nice compilation of audio segments.
