The Art of Douglas Simonson (NSFW)

1396toranounderwaterI came across these paintings by Honolulu artist Douglas Simonson, and they seemed a perfect way to start thinking about the summer.

Simonson has been painting for 30 years, and he seems to love all kinds of beaches — from Hawaii to Brazil.
