Okay, summer officially ended this week. So that would make today a great time to look back on the summer from an internet perspective since we’re, you know, on the internet.
So, what were the most-watched YouTube videos of the summer?
Video analytics firm TubeMogul pulled together all the info, and, well, it’s no surprise that 8 of the top 10 most-viewed were Michael Jackson videos, with “Thriller” coming in at #2 with 28 million views. But as much as we love and miss Michael Jackson, what were the top videos of the summer — views-wise — minus MJ?
I can tell you, and I can also tell you this — the list is real gay! (With or without MJ.) From Bruno to Kelly Rowland to Taylor Lautner, 7 of the top 10 videos most definitely had a very gay angle. Seriously, the one video missing that would have made this the best gay video list ever is The Fire Island Pines Boys’ version of “Party In The USA.”
Power to the gays! Love it.
Check out and watch the very gay full list.
