Pretty awesome, right? Well, this past Saturday night, Will accepted a GLAAD award for Outstanding TV Journalism Segment for his appearance on CNN discussing his commitment to LGBT equality.Now, I have to admit that I was kind of dreading listening to Will's acceptance speech because, well, I despise precocious children, especially when they are forced to act too adult. And I really liked this kid, and his sincerity, and the "Nerds 2(squared) Ever" shirt he wore on the CNN interview, and I didn't want to mess that up.But, after watching his speech, I gotta say this kid is smart, witty, and kinda rockin'. Remember Will Phillips, the Arkansas kid who refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance in class until gays have equal rights? Pretty awesome, right?
