Richard Hatch, the gay Survivor winner from ten years ago who was sentenced to prison because he didn’t pay taxes on his million dollar prize and other income, has been released from prison after serving more than three years. Sorta . . . he’s still under house arrest and must to wear an ankle bracelet.
Anyway, Hatch appeared on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, and he said that he believes that he was sentenced to prison because the judge discriminated against him because he’s gay.
