Last night was week night, so I was watching Rachel Maddow. And when one of the commercial breaks were over, there was Rachel sitting with Kent Jones, except they weren’t at the usual desk. Instead, they were seated somewhere else in the studio. With a phone between them.
Now, I loves me some Rachel, but I get a little . . . squirmy when she breaks out the props. And I did squirm as she phoned in a pizza order with Kent, complete with a pizza man.
But you know what? At the end of it, I understood the Republican opposition to health care just a little bit better. Ah, Rachel, why do I ever doubt you?
Feel the tension and the relief.

The Republican’s came up with a 4 page health care plan of their own.
4 pages for a 2.4 trillion dollar a year health care industry.
My rental contract is 16 pages long.
But you won’t hear much about it. That’s because they created it in order to claim that they, too , have ideas for health care reform.
Wonder why you haven’t heard any Republicans talking about it.
Because it never was a serious plan.
Basically Republicans like health care just the way it is….in the hands of the insurance company’s who butter their bread.
Republicans are a joke.
The only thing they can do is make war…but never finish
