Folks, I am 100% thrilled to make an announcement about a brand new feature here on AKA William. Wanna hear it? Okay, here goes: For those of you who need it, AKA William can be made 100% Safe For Work, with just one little click!

I never put anything truly NSFW on the regular front page of AKA William — I always place any nekkidness after the jumps. But, I know that, for some of you, any skin might be too much skin, so, yup, now you’re all just one little click away from Safe For Work-ness.

How amazing is that?! Just click the little green “100% SFW” button there in the left sidebar or the 100% SFW AKAW at the very top of the page, and bam! All posts with shirtless guys in sexy poses will be removed from the front page and the featured area! And what you’ll have will be just the LGBT news, LGBT politics, gossip, music — everything you want and need from AKA William, minus the guys. The 100% SFW version of the site works just like the regular version of AKA William. You can click on links, make jumps, and go to the next page. And the page after that. And the page after that . . . .

Oh, you might notice that the featured posts at the top of the SFW AKAW side are green and not gray. I thought it’d be easier for you to keep track of which side of AKA William you were on — color coded green for “Good To Go!” At work.

To get back to the regular sometimes-sexified version of AKA William, just click on the “HOME” button. Oh, and if you find yourself pages deep on the SFW AKAW side, you can click the little green button again (or the “100% SFW AKAW” link) to get back to the SFW AKAW homepage.

I’m really, really, really excited about this. And I hope you will be, too. Now, wherever you are and for whatever reason, if you are a little uncomfortable with having any sexy shirtless hot guys on your computer screen, all you have to do is click a button and you’re SFW good to go! And, of course, you can go directly to the URL http://www.akawilliam.com/sfw/ to be taken directly to the Safe for Work AKA William.

I need to thank reader Jesse for writing in about this. In the email, he wrote:

Have you ever thought about having a SFW version of AKA William? I really like to look through the stories while I’ve got some downtime during class, and some of my teachers think it’s good that I’m staying informed in what’s going on in the world. But when see some of the stuff that I like to look at while I’m at home and not in class, they’re a little less enthusiastic.

I wouldn’t even expect or suggest a whole new url. Just something like akawilliam.com/sfw would be awesome. Then I can get my gay politics on in school, and my gay drool on at home, :)

Here you go, Jesse. Now everyone can get whatever they want on, whenever and wherever they want it!
