The arrest and roughing up of gay couple Matt Aune and Derek Jones who were arrested for kissing while on property owned by the Mormon church led to a few kiss-ins. The latest kiss-in was held on Sunday and led to some shouting between some anti-gay crazies and LGBT activists.
As much as I appreciate the activism, I gotta say that my favorite part of the kiss in was the crazy counter-protest. How’s this for a great line of reasoning:
Crazy anti-gay person screams to LGBT activist: “This is about religion in America . . . This is not about being born gay or not. This is about you, going against a religion. In America, religious freedom is about, no no no, you are going against a religion! And that is going against God! And that’s why we’re here.”
