The official video for Kelly Clarkson’s “Already Gone” has been released. And while loving Kelly Clarkson is all very good and gay, hearing the trouble surrounding the release of the song and its video involves Beyonce, is, well, gayer:

The Kelly Clarkson Already Gone lyrics and music were co-written by the singer-songwriter and producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who also produced the track.
In an interview with CBC News in Canada, Kelly Clarkson revealed that she did not want Already Gone to be released as the third official single due to its similarities to the hit single by Beyonce, which was also penned by Ryan Tedder. [Clarkson says], “We wrote about six songs together, four or five of them made the album. It was all fine and dandy. I’d never heard of a song called Halo. Her album came out when my album was already being printed. No-one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinking ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.’ No, they’re just gonna be saying I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said, ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’”
…“In the end, [the record label is] releasing it without my consent,” she sighs. “It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over.

It just goes to show how much of a one trick pony Ryan Tedder is and people need to look somewhere else for collaborations. From his own stuff to Bleeding Love to Halo to this song, it’s all the same.
Now Kelly’s song is definitely superior and her voice is just amazing when compare to Beyonce who needs to go away already.

What about when I heard Chris Brown’s “With You” after Beyonce’s “Irreplacable”? It sounds the same. Nobody said anything about that.

Btw, if Kelly really wanted to stop the promotion for the song, she shouldn’t have film a video for it, plenty of other artist have done that to fight the record companies. I still think hers is better.
