Joss Whedon’s new horror movie, The Cabin in the Woods, which, according to the plot summary, “provides a new twist on a classic scenario — in this case the young-people-stranded-in-the-woods horror trope. Jenkins and Whitford will play white-collar co-workers with a mysterious connection to the cabin.”
This is Whedon’s first movie since “Buffy” ended. (Let’s not count the Wonder Woman fiasco . . . . ) Sounds good and scary, yeah? But the movie’s just released posters? Effin’ funny! I’m not kidding. I choked on a little bit of Diet Coke when I read them.
Check all three out.
The Cabin In the Woods is due out next February. Check out the official site here.

It’s funny because (obviously, I know) it’s making fun of horror movie cliche which only gives me hope it will in fact be good.

Also, Joss Whedon wrote and directed Serenity between when Buffy ended and this film, so it’s not quite his first movie since then.
