Spanish illustrator Ricardo Fumanal loves fashion and boys, not necessarily in that order. And his illustrations combine the two in a way that is both masculine, simple, and detailed.
In an interview with davidsiphoneblog (site NSFW-y), Fumanal says:
I general I get inspired by all the artists that I love, by the music, fashion magazines, contemporary art, the cinema, the illustration, the fashion design, from runway shows, graphic design, clothes. I am always aware about what is going on, I am very curious and I am constantly observing, and any detail can be useful for my job.
And he has a wicked sense of humor. Some of his illustrations are pretty hardcore, but funny. And sexy. That’s a tough trio to pull off.
Check out some of the smoldering (yeah, that’s the word I’ve been looking for to describe Fumanal’s work — “smoldering”) SFW and NSFW artistry.
