I meant to put this up last week.
I am struck, once again, that Hillary seamlessly followed the lead of Max, the Moldovan gay rights activist who referenced gay rights as human rights, which is exactly what the Obama administration has been doing. Gotta say that I really love that. Hillary said:
Human rights is and always will be one of the pillars of our foreign policy. And in particular, the persecution and discrimination against gays and lesbians is something that we take very seriously . . . Human rights are the inalienable right of every person no matter who that person loves.”
Did she use the word “inalienable?” The word that so troubled the California Supreme Court Justices last week? She sure did.
