I love gay ads and commercials. Sometimes I feel like collecting them has become sort of a default hobby. So imagine how happy I was when I read through the inaugural “GLAAD Media Awards in Advertising” list of winners and nominees.

Seriously, it was like reading through a list of AKA William advertisers and entries. Love it. From GLAAD:

Alan Cumming hosted the Inaugural GLAAD Media Awards in Advertising on October 27, 2009. The event recongnized advertisers that promote fair, accurate and inclusive images of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Among this year’s award recipients were Orbitz, Bertolli, Allstate, Progressive Insurance, Toyota Scion, Levi’s Kenneth Cole and ABSOLUT® Vodka.
