Massachusetts Republican state Senator Scott Allen, who is the father of fifth Season American Idol top-24-er Ayla Brown and who once was one of Cosmopolitan’s 1982 centerfolds, is not a fan of marriage equality. Oh, and he wants Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat. And he’s officially announced he’s in the running for it.
