We owe Pennsylvania state senator Daylin Leach a big ol’ thank you.
Leach recently introduced a marriage equality bill in his state. And remember when he battled fellow senator John Eichelberger? The senator who wants a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality? The same man who said that gays were being “allowed to exist?” Yeah, great stuff.
Yesterday morning, Leach kept fighting the good marriage equality fight – this time against anti-LGBT Pastor Bill Devlin, of Redeem the Vote, on “Good Morning, Philadelphia.” And, as he did with Eichelberger, Leach made the anti-equality opposition look as outdated and bigoted as it really is. And he did it while looking calm, smart, and likable.
Good stuff.
Watch the exchange.

“It’s for the children!” is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
