Donald Trump, with Shanna Moakler, Keith Lewis, and Carrie Prejean at his side, just announced that Carrie Prejean will keep her crown.
Prejean spoke after the Trump announced his decision, and she sounded like the bigot she has always sounded like — using her religion to justify attempts to violate civil rights. And she explained the new topless photos as being taken in between shots on a windy day and released without her permission by the photographer. Which sounds just like a lie. Because those pictures are posed.
I am sure Maggie Gallagher was smiling proudly.
Despite defending Prejean rather energetically both in his announcement and during the questions afterward, Trump, to his credit, said that he would love to have Perez Hilton back next year as a judge.
I am hoping that we can all now put this tired tired tired topic to rest.
