Joy Behar interviewed Joe The Plumber last night, and she pushed him to back up his remarks that all gays are pedophiles.
Sure, he’s personally irrelevant, but I think he’s a great example of the current public Republican defense of homophobia that begins and ends with “you can’t tell me what to think.”
It’s a bait-and-switch switcheroo from the demonstrably indefensible to the confused defensible, screamed at the top of homophobic lungs.
