25 Years Of Gay Men On TV: From Longing Glances to Marriage Equality

25-years-of-gayOkay, this is kind of amazing.

YouTube user LBColby has created a compilation of clips of the appearances of gay men on primetime TV, from 1983 to 2008.

We went from terrifying a teen boy (who, I am almost positive grew up to be Leo in “Charmed”) with our mere presence to exchanging rings with each other while our moms cried.

How’s that for a story arc? Watch the big haired closeted homosexuals morph into clean-cut gays.

    That kid looked like River Phoenix too. (I never watched Charmed.)
